Year 10 Progress Meetings: Monday 4th July 2022

“Stepping Up” to Year 11

Dear Parent/ Carer,

We are delighted to invite your child to a progress meeting on Monday 4th July 2022.

The progress meeting is important in providing information about your child’s progress, their working at grades and their attitude to learning. We will also discuss any areas in which we can support leading up to their GCSE examinations in Year 11.

During the twenty-minute meeting, the following will be discussed:

  • Working at grades, target grades and progress made this year
  • Behaviour logs
  • Attitude to learning
  • Target setting and interventions for the start of Year 11
  • Student survey on how we can support your child further

The rationale for this meeting is to give your child one-to-one support leading up to the start of Year 11. Our “Safe, Ready, Respectful” curriculum underpins everything we do and we want your child to have a positive learning experience during their final year at The Edge Academy.

The times available for each meeting are as follows. A member of staff will meet with your child to arrange a convenient time for you both. We understand, however, if you cannot make the time, but we expect your child to attend. Work will be given to each student to complete whilst they are at home in between their appointment time.

Please contact me if you need an earlier appointment time.
