Dear Parent/Carer,
As part of our on-going drive to raise standards, we have recently set up a working party focused upon improving teaching and learning at the academy. Our aim is to ensure consistency across the academy in the quality of lessons and ensure all students make good progress, all of the time.
A key element of this teaching and learning strategy is ensuring learning experiences are practical and relevant where possible. Our Year 10s recently visited the nature centre to hone their photography skills learnt in class and did us proud with the images they produced!

We have also recently introduced ‘Feel Good Friday’ with an initiative to praise both students and staff. Ask your son/daughter if they have received any of the special postcards.
