Dear Parent/Carer,
As always I hope you are well and hope that your child is looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend. We return to school as normal at 9.15am on Tuesday 8th May.
I am writing with advance warning that we will be holding an additional staff training day on Monday 21st May, meaning that students will not be attending school on that date. As new Principal, I intend to use this additional training day to ensure that our new vision for teaching and learning can be planned for and implemented quickly. Staff will also be updating their safeguarding training during the day, this is of paramount importance to ensure that all students are safe at all times and can focus on enjoying their learning in school. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank you once more for the support you have all given me in my first weeks in role- it is much appreciated by myself but also the staff team as a whole. We will continue to work relentlessly to support your child and will ensure that we focus on “Shaping Futures” for all of our students.
