Dear Year 11 Parent/Carer,

I hope you are well and that your child is continuing to enjoy a successful examination period. As a team of staff, we will continue to be there for Year 11 students until the end of their time with us and we wish them well.

I am writing with details of the final date for Year 11 students on Friday 15th June. Following the final morning examination, we will be holding a celebration event in school to say farewell to students and to allow them to say farewell to friends and staff. We will be providing refreshments and a range of party food and hope that this will be an enjoyable occasion for everyone involved. Students are free to leave the event at any time they wish, any Year 11 students who are not in school for the morning examination should arrive no later than 12 midday if they wish to join the event.

As the end date for Year 11 students draws closer, I am also writing to confirm that from Monday 11th June, students are expected to attend school for examinations only. If any students have specific revision/catch-up arrangements with a member of staff or attend bespoke intervention sessions arranged with a member of staff, they are of course welcome to continue to attend after Monday 11th June.

We will issue further communication towards the end of term regarding Results Day but if you have any questions regarding this in the meantime, let me know. I would once again like to wish your child all the best for the remainder of the examination period.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Wakefield
