Tuesday 11th July 4 – 6pm – Parents evening for years 7-10
Friday 14th July – Students dismissed at 1pm for staff training
Friday 21st July – Break up 1pm (non-uniform day)
We have continued our focus on improving behaviour at the academy through the use of praise and rewards. Well done to all students who have attended the ‘Friday 5’ events and those that have been handing in their PRAISE cards. We continue to develop our links with local businesses to offer prizes to students and this week we were supported by Starbucks Northfield Drive Through) and Cadbury World.
Attendance continues to be a priority for us and I would like to congratulate the following students for their consistently high attendance: Rebecca Williams, Minister Enfrence, Ryan Lawmon, Isabelle Leppington, and Adam Bartlett.
Following consultation with staff, students, and parents, we have finalised our school day timings for next year and these can be found on the reverse of this letter.

Detentions for truancies and red cards take place after school for up to half an hour.
One hour detentions take place after school Friday for any truancies through the week.
