Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to inform you of a leadership change at the academy. As many of you will be aware, I was brought in to the academy as Interim Principal by the Birmingham Education Partnership in March 2017. I am pleased to inform you that the governing body have now recruited a permanent Principal and Andrew Wakefield begins as the new Principal with effect from today. I will be leaving the academy this Friday to take up a post as Principal in another Birmingham school.
It is with sadness that I leave as I have felt so much pride in the work of the students and staff in the last 12 months, but I am confident that the academy will continue to progress under the able stewardship of Andrew Wakefield. I wish him, the staff, and the students all the best for the future.
