Dear Parent/Carer,
You will no doubt be aware that Year 11 students are about to enter the main examination season, the results of which are crucial to determining the path your son/daughter will follow in September.  Staff will of course continue to prepare students for these examinations and all of us wish them well with the papers they will be sitting over the next few weeks.
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that during enrichment time between 2:35 and 3:15pm, staff are available for revision and study sessions in F2- we recommend that your son/daughter takes advantage of this time.  We also run after school revision lessons at the following times and would urge Year 11 students to attend:

You will be aware that your child has been entered for external GCSE examinations which will take place from 15th May until 15th June 2018.  These examinations can only be taken at the time shown on the attached statement of entry (personalised for your child), and any students who arrive late may not be permitted to enter the examination room. Please ensure that your child attends The Edge at this time; all equipment will be provided on the day.
Students will be expected to attend lessons when they are not sitting an examination, although they will be allowed to leave school when afternoon examinations finish before the end of the school day.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours faithfully,

Sue Herbert,
Senior Line Manager for Examinations and Lead Teacher of Maths
