End of Summer Term 2019/ Start of Autumn Term 2019 Arrangements

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am writing with advance confirmation of our end of Summer Term 2019/start of Autumn Term 2019 arrangements. Firstly, students will be dismissed at 12.15pm on Friday 19th July. Students will need to attend in full uniform on the last day of term, and we will provide lunch as normal for all students prior to dismissing them. Students will return to school for the beginning of the Autumn Term on Wednesday 4th September at 9.15am. As we have previously advised, all Year 11 students are asked to attend between 9am-11.30am on Thursday August 22nd to collect their GCSE results.

I would once more like to thank you all for your commitment and support over the last school year, I have really enjoyed working with you all. I also trust that your child will enjoy the “Cultural Capital” learning experiences we have planned for the final week of term in the week commencing Monday 15th July. Alongside our normal timetabled regular slots with the Dallaglio Rugby Foundation, Sports Zone and Southside Construction, we are delighted to remind you that as per the other published letters on our website, we have the following activities planned:

Monday 15th July:  Physical Education visit to Creation Skate Park for all Y10 and Y9 students.

Tuesday 16th July:  Visit to Birmingham City Centre and Solihull Ice Rink for all students.

Wednesday 17th July:  Humanities visit to Birmingham Buddhist Centre for all Y9 students.

Thursday 18th July:  Visit to Barry Island for all students.
