End of Summer Half-Term 1/ Start of Summer Half-Term 2 Arrangements

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am writing with advance confirmation of our end of Summer Half-Term 1/start of Summer Half-Term 2 arrangements. Firstly, students will be dismissed at 12.15pm on Friday 24th May. Students will need to attend in full uniform on the last day of term, and we will provide lunch as normal for all students prior to dismissing them.

In order to ensure that our safeguarding and teaching and learning training is up to date and of the highest quality, governors have agreed a final additional staff training day at the beginning of the next half-term, meaning that Monday 3rd June is now a training day. All students therefore need to return to school by 9.15am on Tuesday 4th June for the beginning of the new half-term. Any Year 11 students that would like to attend on Monday 3rd June for examination revision are welcome to do so between 1.15 and 3.15pm.

Further to the letter we have already sent out to all Year 11 parents/ carers and students regarding individual examination timetables, I am also writing with advance warning that even after the end of their examinations, Year 11 students need to continue to attend until Friday 28th June. All Year 11 students will be individually seen with details of their amended timetables following the end of the examination season.
