Dear Parent/Carer,
As you will be aware, it was necessary to dismiss students today before the normal time. This was due to an electrical fault that meant we had no water, along with some other associated issues. The engineer was unable to rectify the problem immediately and thus it was necessary to dismiss students for health and safety reasons. A decision to close the school is never taken lightly and all parents were contacted before students were released. I would like to thank students and parents for their support in making this a smooth process. Whilst we hope we will have no other emergencies in the near future, please feel free to contact reception if you wish to discuss particular arrangements for your child if there is ever a need for an early dismissal.
I am happy to report that the problem has now been rectified and we will be open at the normal time as of tomorrow, Thursday 11th January.
